The Thorhild Ukrainian Dance Club has had a remarkably busy and rewarding
season as they prepare for their upcoming competitions. Recently, the club took part in
the vibrant Culture Fuze Festival held in Camrose from March 7-9, where they
showcased their dedication and talent among a diverse array of performances.
Following this event, the dancers are eagerly looking forward to the highly anticipated
Vermillion Ukrainian Cultural Association Festival, scheduled for April 25-27, where they
will compete against other talented groups and continue to display their cultural
heritage.
Following their performances in Vermillion, the club will attend the Veeteretz
Ukrainian Dance Festival in Fort Saskatchewan from May 1-4, offering another
opportunity for the dancers to display their outstanding talents on a larger stage. The
club is incredibly proud of its dancers, who have shown immense dedication and
commitment throughout the year. Their countless hours of practice and perseverance
have led to significant improvements in their dance skills, and each member’s growth is
a demonstration of all their hard work.
The club hopes that every dancer cherishes the memories created during this
journey, taking joy in both the challenges and successes of their performances. The
Thorhild Ukrainian Dance Club would like to extend a heartfelt message to their
amazing dancers: “Dance like the world is yours, and good luck in your upcoming
competitions!” May each dancer embrace the excitement ahead and shine bright in
every performance.
