Thorhild Library embraced the festive spirit by organizing a Ladies’ Night Christmas crafting event.
Project kits were provided by H2H Designs, offering a range of wooden ornaments, signs, Christmas
countdowns, themed tiered tray décor, and more. The evening provided an opportunity for women to
connect, fostering relationships while engaging in an activity that amplifies the joy and excitement of
the season.
Tables were adorned with wooden pieces, bottles of paint, ribbons, string, glue, and various crafting
tools necessary to bring these cheerful pieces to life. Lackluster shapes were gradually transformed into
a variety of uniquely colorful creations, each as distinct as the crafters themselves. The library buzzed
with concentration and camaraderie. The cozy atmosphere set the perfect stage for a wintry ladies’
night in. One participant mentioned that her project was chosen to be completed and then given as a
Christmas gift; hers was the only one. The consensus around the tables was that these projects were a
gift to themselves. Thorhild Library provided a much-needed break for this group of women, with one
participant simply stating, “It’s a ‘me day!'”
