Historical walk

The grade four class of H.A. Kostash School in Smoky Lake embarked on an exciting historical walk
through town just before the end of the school year. Led by their teachers, the students explored
various landmarks and historical sites, immersing themselves in the rich heritage of their community.

During their expedition, the class took a break and enjoyed a delightful picnic in the park. Surrounded by
nature, they savored their lunches, sharing laughter and stories with one another. The refreshing
outdoors provided the perfect backdrop for the students to recharge and connect with their
surroundings.

Following the picnic, the students gathered in a cozy spot outside for an engaging story time session.
The teacher captivated their attention with fascinating tales, weaving together facts and anecdotes
about the local history and culture. The students listened attentively, their imaginations ignited by the
stories that brought the past to life.

The historical walk, the picnic, and the story time session created a memorable and educational
experience for the grade four class of H.A. Kostash School.
