The annual Senior’s Tea at Thorhild Library kept the spirit of honoring local seniors on June 16. More than 50 esteemed guests graced the library, indulging in delectable treats provided by the Friends of the Thorhild Library Society. Additionally, Thorhild County generously contributed a splendid cake, adding to the joyous atmosphere. The event not only satisfied their taste buds but also fostered a sense of togetherness and camaraderie. Recognizing the seniors as the heart of the community, these gatherings focus solely on them, providing a well-deserved opportunity to shine and receive admiration for their lifelong dedication and sacrifices. The Kindness Counts crew from Thorhild County Family Centre even joined in the festivities, creating a special treat for each attendee. Delicately decorated bottles of hand lotion, accompanied by a heartfelt poem, celebrated the myriad ways in which their hands have shaped their lives.
