Nook in the Woods is the store with more

Nook in the Woods is a slice of heaven, locally owned and operated by married couple Sonia and Ernst Zellweger. The shop is located only a few kilometres out of Thorhild at 59204 Range Road 223, and is nestled in its own “Nook in the Woods” with tall and full luscious trees surrounding its entirety. This year, the business celebrates its 26 years in business in the Thorhild County community.

Sonia Zellweger said, “Our business is completely run by myself and my husband. We pride ourselves on being decently priced and carrying many high-quality items for our customers. We always greet our customers with a nice smile and conversation as soon as they walk through our doors and until they leave, offering them great deals or free items with their purchases. My husband also offers upholstery services and has 30 plus years experience in the field.”

The neat little shop is full of surprises, from the nice drive out to its location to when you open the front door and see all the fantastic gifts and different products they sell and carry. Customers are greeted with open hearts and kindness as they walk into this store and are offered many great products and deals, as the store always has discounts or discount racks. The store carries a wide variety of items for purchase and gives many options to its clientele. They carry tons   of Watkins products, like delicious spices. They offer Avon products in-store, so people don’t have to wait for the hassle of online shopping and all sorts of essential oils. Nook in the Woods brings in high-quality jewelry for those nice nights you need to doll up and get out of the house, and customers can even pick out a great-priced outfit right in the same store. The list goes on and on with what this unique store has to offer its customers, from many different gift items that include cheese, wine and beer-making kits to a large variety of tea, hot chocolate, and accessories. Customers can get arthritis or aching body relief with their fantastic Rawleigh and Mercy MSM products. Their services don’t stop there; customers can order Sonia’s beautifully crafted gift baskets or have Ernst reupholster any old cushion that needs a facelift. For the men, the store carries an excellent supply of Amsoil products like motor oil, air tool oil, fuel additives, lubricant, gun oil, and so much more.

Sonia Zellweger said, “We are so grateful for our customers throughout the years we have been in business. We hope we can serve our   surrounding communities and that people can see what we truly have to offer them. Any chance we get, we try to pay it forward, whether giving to our customers or donating to a good cause like our local Christmas hampers!
