Ladies Took a Blast to the Past at Kinette Club’s Annual Ladies Night Out

The Kinette Club of Smoky Lake recently lit up the night with its Annual Ladies
Night Out, this year featuring a 90s theme that proved to be an overwhelming success!
Bringing a wave of nostalgia to the women of the community, the event was designed to
be all about fun, empowerment, and enjoyment, reminiscent of the unique energy that
characterized the 90s.
As guests stepped into the hall, they were instantly transported back in time,
greeted by an electrifying atmosphere filled with laughter and excitement. The evening
was packed with games and entertainment that kept spirits high, with specialty drinks
flowing to add an extra touch of flair to the night. The silent auction was an amazing
display where local businesses generously donated an abundance of items and
services that sparked the interest and excitement of the guests.
However, the real showstopper of the night was the highly anticipated lip-sync
battles. Teams of enthusiastic participants donned outrageous costumes and came
equipped with props that brought a touch of humour and creativity to their
performances. The competition was fierce as teams battled it out for the title of
champions, and the crowd erupted in laughter and applause, fully engaged in the high-
energy entertainment.
In addition to the festivities, the culinary offerings were nothing short of
spectacular. Guests were treated to a stunning charcuterie board, meticulously
arranged with an assortment of delicious meats, cheeses, and fresh produce, creating a
feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Complementing the savory options was an
exquisite dessert table that featured a variety of sweet treats, looking almost too good to
eat but absolutely irresistible.
This women’s night was a heartfelt celebration of friendship, empowerment, and
having a good time. The Kinette Club of Smoky Lake masterfully blended the iconic
essence of the 90s with a cool, contemporary vibe, making it a wonderful evening. A
