The heart of community collaboration

The first “Valentine’s Day with the Radway Lions Club” was an enchanting
celebration that beautifully brought several communities together in a festivity of
entertainment and collaboration with various local organizations. The Egremont
Community Club, donned their aprons, and gathered to create an exquisite meal that
delighted the senses and nourished the souls of all who attended. The kitchen filled with
the enticing aroma, inviting eager diners to indulge. As each plated dish was served,
laughter and chatter filled the air, enhancing the cozy atmosphere and deepening the
bonds of friendship and togetherness. This culinary endeavor was especially significant,
as the proceeds from the dinner portion of the tickets was donated to the Egremont
Community Club to go towards the building of a new community hall.
The Radway Agricultural Society graciously provided the venue, adding another
layer of community engagement that ensured the evening’s success. The night was
further inspired by the Radway Lions Club’s unwavering commitment to nurturing local
youth. With pride, they announced a donation to the Thorhild Titans U7 and U13 Minor
Hockey teams, easing the financial burden of tournament fees, providing an investment
in the budding talents of local athletes, putting back into the community.
The night was for couples, looking for something special to do on Valentine’s
Day. The night was for friends looking to reconnect. The night was for families to
spend time together and enjoy an all-ages experience. The electric energy generated by
the live performance of the talented Ryan Snow Band filled the hall. Guests of all ages
twirled and swayed, dancing the night away amidst the joyful melodies, relishing the
chance to celebrate their cherished relationships, or simply revel in the warmth of an
evening with family. The performances and lively ambiance transformed the event into
an unforgettable experience, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who attended.
The collaboration among various organizations showcased a remarkable spirit of
generosity, illustrating how collective action can bring people together and reinforce a
small but vital community. It was a night filled with laughter, love, and connection, where
everyone felt the warmth of unity and support. A heartfelt thank you goes out to
