The Egremont Community Club is always creating excitement and activity,
bringing together local residents for various events and opportunities for camaraderie.
Throughout the year, this incredible team of volunteers work tirelessly to organize an
array of engaging activities, from Egremont Days and Mother’s Day Luncheons to
friendly competitive Crib Tournaments and Saturday afternoon Market Days.
This past summer, the Egremont Community Club introduced lunch specials at
their weekly Saturday Markets, offering visitors the chance to stop by and shop for local
goods and take a minute to sit down and enjoy a delicious sandwich and salad
while meeting up with friends.
The recent Garlic Festival was a huge hit, as always, drawing garlic enthusiasts
from near and far who indulged in a mouthwatering array of garlic-infused dishes. As
the community transitions into September, the Egremont Community Club is already
gearing up for its next event. On September 28, 2024, they will be hosting a savory
steak supper feast, followed by a dance complete with a live band and a silent auction
held alongside. Tickets are priced at $35 per person, and all proceeds contribute to the
ongoing efforts to rebuild the historic Egremont Hall.
For those looking to support this cause, the club invites everyone to join them for
a night of fun on September 28 and to keep an eye out for upcoming events such as
pub nights starting on September 13 from 4 pm to 10 pm; pub nights will also be
featuring an appetizer menu.
Every ticket purchased, and every visit to the community hall, brings the
Egremont Community Club closer to their goal of rebuilding a cherished symbol of unity
and community spirit in the area. While the building has held many memories of
weddings, celebrations, and events, Egremont Community Club looks forward to
preserving those memories and adding many more, even when an updated structure
takes place.
