Redwater Home Hardware has recently launched an exciting new initiative in its
garden center to create an inclusive and engaging space for the community. The
innovative Artisan Corner is now an integral part of the garden center, providing a
platform for local artists to display their unique artwork and giftware. This thoughtful
endeavor not only enhances the overall appeal of the garden center but also attracts
repeat visitors drawn to the one-of-a-kind pieces on display.
The Artisan Corner, which is set to be a permanent seasonal feature, offers a
diverse range of artwork and gift items created by talented local artists. This includes
stunning paintings, intricate sculptures, and other distinctive creations that are available
for purchase by the community. By providing local artists with the opportunity to
showcase and sell their work, Home Hardware is fostering a greater sense of
community and celebrating the talent and creativity within the local art scene.
This new addition has quickly become a popular destination for art enthusiasts
and those seeking unique pieces for their collections or as gifts. It has been
exceptionally successful, with the first week alone seeing the sale of seven pieces. This
success is a testament to the talent and creativity of our local artists, and the support of
the community. Given its popularity, the Artisan Corner is anticipated to become a must-
visit attraction for patrons of the local Home Hardware. The ongoing success of this
initiative will undoubtedly continue to benefit the local artists, the community, and the
garden center as a whole.
The Artisan Corner is currently open and will continue until the end of the
season, coinciding with the garden center’s closing. Upon its closure, the Artisan Corner
will take a hiatus until its anticipated return in 2025, overlapping with the garden center’s
reopening. This unique project is set to run for 6-8 weeks each season, offering
shoppers an extended opportunity to experience and enjoy the creative offerings. The
presence of the Artisan Corner has enhanced the appeal of the garden center, providing
visitors with an additional incentive to explore and engage with the diverse offerings
available.
