The Kinette Club of Smoky Lake successfully concluded its annual Golf
Tournament, which saw significant participation this year. With eighteen teams and
seventy-two golfers, the tournament was an overwhelming success. The Kinette Club
was thrilled with the turnout and the exceptional skills displayed by the golfers. The
camaraderie at each hole provided a wonderful opportunity for the participants to bond
and get to know each other.
The Kinette Club of Smoky Lake extends their heartfelt thanks to our sponsors,
whose support was instrumental in making their annual Golf Tournament the
tremendous event it was. They are grateful to J-Tech Mechanical, Grant Miller Chevrolet
Buick GMC Ltd., Chomay Dental, Serben Farms, Smoky Lake Waster & Recycle, Old
Fashioned Bread Bakery, Smokin R Meats, and JJSR Millrite Services. During the
tournament, Hole 5 was a favourite, thanks in large part to the hard work and dedication
of Mikaelynn Tocheniuk and Amanda Stratichuk who went above and beyond at the
concession stand, ensuring that everyone had a great experience. Furthermore, a
special acknowledgment is owed to Old Prospector Distilling for their generous
contribution of delightful tastings, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the day.
The excitement was tangible as participants enjoyed a day outside, competing in
a friendly atmosphere and basking in the fresh air and relaxation. The beautiful Smoky
Lake Golf Course provided the perfect setting for the tournament, and the Kinette Club
is immensely grateful for their hospitality. The tournament not only provided a platform
for friendly competition but also fostered connections and built lasting relationships
among the players. They look forward to seeing everyone attend next year’s
tournament!
