The Radway Home and Garden Show was held on June 10 and 11. Over fifty tables were set up, with approximately forty vendors displaying their products and services. It was a great weekend for crowds to get out of the heat and speak with not only local entrepreneurs but an array of businesses that offered recreational and home services. The beer gardens were open both days with a selection of cold drinks to quench the thirst as well as a concession offering a variety of standard concession foods, breakfast sandwiches and daily lunch specials.
One of the highlights was the long-anticipated draw for the Radway Ag Society spring raffle. The Ag Society was pleased to announce that approximately 75% of their tickets were sold. The zero-turn lawn mower went to a winner in Thorhild, the gazebo was claimed by a winner from Redwater, and the gift cards went to Abee. With many other events occurring around the community on the same weekend, the event was a little slower than usual but still enjoyed by many. Radway will be holding their next event, Pioneer Days, on July 21-23.
