The Thorhild Arena invited children of all ages to join them on March 26th for a couple of hours to “wreck/paint” the ice. This was a great way to give everyone one more opportunity to skate and have some fun before the end of the winter season. Participants donned their helmets and skates one last time and were given bottles of colored water to decorate the ice before it would be taken out. Roman Sopotyk offered his thanks to everyone who came to wreck the ice, “It was a great success! The kids had a lot of fun with it, and I can’t wait to do this next season.” This was the first time an event like this was held, and it is hopeful that it will become an annual tradition.
