On the weekend of February 18, the Redwater Rush U9 team headed to Stettler to compete in a novice tournament.
The tournament, hosted by the Stettler Storm, featured 18 teams from across the area.
There is no official scorekeeping at this level, but it was a chance for players to experience a tournament, meet other teams, and hone their skills.
“The kids had a blast and look forward to the away tournament all season,” shared Chelsea Anaka, team manager. “It was some of these kids’ first away tournament ever.”
This was the last tournament of the season for the U9 Rush team.
