Redwater Library November youth programs

As the month changes from October to November, so do some of the programs the Redwater Library has to offer. The Redwater Library is one for the community and its youth, constantly changing what they provide for guests to do while at the library—located in the heart of Redwater at 4915 48 Street and allowing free library cards to any members of the community who wish to obtain one.

November brings regular programs like tabletop games club, allowing youth to make new friends or bring old friends and enjoy some games every Thursday between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m; every Thursday also includes Parent-Child Mother Goose. Afternoon toddler time can be enjoyed every Wednesday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m, an hour-long break in the day to enjoy some scheduled time with your little one. Drop-in Makerspace is November 18 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m, where children can join the library in some creative crafts. Science can be explored on November 30 at the After School S.T.E.A.M program from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. November 25 hosts the monthly parented movie night, where all are encouraged to bring a pillow and their favourite blanket to cozy up with while they enjoy a 6:00 p.m. movie.

Fall break running through November 8, 9, and 10, children are encouraged to join the Redwater Library for fun from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Youth are being offered the chance to participate in a lego challenge, make candy sushi and make a balance bot.

Join the Redwater Library for this month’s craft, Off the Books Craft Evening, and guests get to make candles. The program will cost five dollars; if you would like to attend, guests must register by November 16.
