Thorhild County is now offering E-Billing services with proposed utilities through the county. Allowing customers to have the opportunity to save on time and trees and save money by changing paper bills and receiving monthly utility bills electronically.
What does the change to receiving bills electronically mean for you? Switching to E-Billing saves on costs like paper, printing and mailing bills, which over the years adds up to saving quite a bit for each customer. Typically, most utility companies add a small charge for sending you a bill by paper. Electronic Billing is a lot more cost-effective for the company and the customer.
Although it is very underrated, E-Billing also plays a role with its “green” practices when swapping over. Simply switching from paying bills using paper checks, invoices, and envelopes to using online payment services and changing how you get your account allows individuals to save many trees over their lifetime.
When it is time to pay the bills, head over to the bank, fill out forms, purchase stamps, and then head to the post office to mail your checks. E-Billing lets you log into your account, and with a few easy clicks, you’re all done; the bill is received and paid. This makes the experience quick, free, and 100 percent secure.
Thorhild county is working to reduce waste and costs and make life a little easier for its community members. It is simple to contact them to sign up today and have your utility bill emailed to you monthly, just like that. If interested, contact the Thorhild County utility department at 780-398-3741 ext. 2811 or email utilities@thorhildcounty.com or visit bit.ly/thorhild_ebill to complete the sign-up form online.
