On September 20 and 21, students at Redwater Ochre Park’s School took part in a special event – making borscht! Through our Generations United Program, students worked alongside local seniors peeling, chopping and prepping veggies to make borscht which they later enjoyed for lunch. Students grew and harvested many of the vegetables used in our school gardens. The Generations United program is made possible in part through funds provided by the Town of Redwater. Thanks to this program, students were able to learn about their heritage, connect with their community and enjoy a delicious meal!
